Hey, I live in Toronto, Ontario. I had a yellow lab who passed away last month, and I am looking to get a dog, and I always wanted a pug.
I was wondering if anyone knows a good place to get them from, I am willing to drive to the states to get one. So any states near Ontario are fine too.

that's the ontario breeder listing. i've heard great things about joan leishman at puxutawny. ny old boss (a veterinarian) got his pug through her, and he's healthy and gorgeous and sweet.

if you're willing to drive to the states, michigan has a lot of pugs that new homes. my latest dog is a rescue dog and he's absolutely amazing. good luck!!

I'm not sure if you have your heart set on a pug...but if you're looking for a smallish dog with lots of personality I know that there are also two french bulldogs available in Ontario through petfinder

They caught my eye when I was looking for either a pug, boston terrier or Frenchie. But I don't live in Ontario so of course I couldn't adopt either one of them.
