Some photos of my pugs, both those living and those gone.
At the beginning of July, our Bridget (affectionately called 'Bubu Baby Boo Girl' or 'Bubu') went to go wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge. An autoimmune disorder attacked her blood cells and we didn't know until it was too late. We did all we could for her (including a blood transfusion), with the help of the most wonderful vet ever, but ultimately she had to be put to sleep on July 3rd. It was for the best.
As for the other two, Rocky was affected the most by her passing. They grew up together and she was essentially his playmate. I didn't think dogs could ever be sad, but I was wrong. The big boo has stuck by my mother since then. He's back to his old self, but I don't think he'll ever quite be the same.
Emma, on the other hand, has become lazy and lethargic. We're worried she may eventually contract the same autoimmune disorder Bridget had (as they're half-sisters), but for now, she seems to be doing just fine.
One way to get your pugs to sleep - take them on a road trip! Poor little puggins were completely worn out after a road trip from Houston to Austin and back! They played with their Australian Shepherd friends, Samantha and Sydney.
Gosh, I haven't posted on here in forever -- So instead of lurking around as usual and thinking how cute everyones elses puglets are, I'll share a few pictures of mine.
This first picture is of The General... A name my friends have all given to my pug, Maggie. I find it sort of fitting for her stature.
And next is of all three of my babies, from left to right: Terry, Emma and Maggie.
Okay, I just have to ask -because this bothers me from time to time, lmao-: does anyone else's pug(s) make this "Hnnnnnnnnnnnnn"-esque humming noise at all? And if so, what does it signify?
My Rocky does it constantly, like when you scratch him, give him kisses, pick him up, ect. He doesn't have a pushed in nose like his sisters do, so I'm wondering if that's something to do with it.
Boise Pug Meetup today. I just love the pug meetups! The Boise one is very organized and everyone is so friendly. Here are 20 pics from today's meetup! Wow!
We got Wrigley two years ago today! The pics above were taken on this day in 2008, 2009 and 2010. He really looked like a different dog when we first got him! When he first arrived he was in the middle of a steroid treatment and since then we've made a concerted effort of keep him to around 18 lbs or so (the vet suggested it would help him breathe easier)
